刷卡帮助家长们控制孩子的饮食习惯

迪拜：在迪拜的三个学校，孩子们每刷一次卡，家长们都可以控制孩子们的饮食和消费习惯。
使这成为可能的是一款叫做Campus Key的电子ID卡，目前，迪拜的 Al Mawakeb 学校和国际艺术与科学学校 (ISAS)都在使用。
该卡片能够让家长们为孩子们设定一个理想的零花钱限额，家长们也可以通过一个在线门户网站看到孩子们在学校消费的项目，比如说食物、文具和书本。
监控学生们从食堂购买的食物清单能够帮助家长控制孩子的卡路里消费，国际学术管理方案(AMSI)管理三个学校的首席信息官George Akhras说道。
他还说：“我们想要帮助家长减少学生的脂肪摄入量，为了达到这个目标，我们将他链接到消费。只要我们知道他们在消费什么，就能帮助学生们选择更健康的方案。”
Akhras说卡片里还会包含卡片持有者的必要健康信息，比如说任何过敏或健康的状况。
他还说：“如果一个学生偶然地从食堂选择了一种他会过敏的食物，食堂接手交易的工作人员应该要及时的了解到情况，并根据具体情况做出应对。员工也会提前接到通知，以确保孩子的健康不会处于危险之中。”
当学生去医护室时，电子卡片也很有帮助，因为通过刷卡，护士也可以查询到孩子们的健康信息。

Dubai: With every swipe of a card, parents can now keep a tab on the eating and spending habits of their children in three Dubai schools.
This is possible thanks to the Campus Key, an electronic ID card, adopted by Al Mawakeb schools and International School of Arts and Sciences (ISAS) in Dubai.
The card allows parents to top up the card with the desired allowance, and view items such as food, stationery and books bought by their children in school through an online portal.
Monitoring the food bought by students from the canteen can help parents control the calories consumed, said George Akhras — Chief Information Officer at Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI), which manages the three schools.
“We wanted to help parents reduce the amount of fat students eat and in order to do that we linked it to consumption. Once we know what they are consuming we can guide the students into moving towards healthier options,” he said.
Akhras said the card also contains necessary health information of the card holders, such as any allergies or health conditions.
“Should a student accidentallyly select food from the school cafeteria that he is allergic to, the staff handling the transaction will be able to identify the situation and can act accordingly. They will be better informed to ensure that the child’s health is not at risk,” he said.
This can also be helpful when the student visits the nurse’s office because she can access their health information with the swipe of a card.
