阿布扎比2016年计划引进CCTV安防摄像头安装到所有计程车厢内。此举深得广大司机赞赏。他们觉得新监控系统可便于解决客户投诉问题并且还可识别乘客的粗俗行为。
访了出租车司机，他们常因客户投诉而被罚款。其实错在客户，不在司机。
一尼泊尔出租车司机，Prem Kumar说 “我很乐意安置摄像头以便监控车厢内发生的情况。”“这可更容易澄清司机或乘客的是非对错纠纷。此刻，乘客抱怨这是司机受罚的借口。因为对乘客的语言攻击是很难证明熟是熟非的。”

Plans to introduce CCTV security cameras inside all taxis in Abu Dhabi by 2016 have been welcomed by taxi drivers, who say the new monitoring system will make their jobs easier when it comes to customer complaints and identifying abusive behaviour from passengers.
Gulf News spoke to taxi drivers who said that they were often fined because of customer complaints, when in fact it was the customer, and not the taxi driver, who was in the wrong.
“I am very happy that cameras will be placed inside taxis to monitor what happens,” said Prem Kumar, a taxi driver from Nepal. “This will make it easier to see who was right and who was wrong, the driver or the passenger. At the moment when the passenger complains it’s the driver who receives the fine, and it’s difficult to prove our case because it’s our word against the passengers.”
