Al Bayan发布的视频中显示：一个假装身体残疾的乞丐在哈伊马角被一名汽车修理厂所有者举报。
这名亚洲籍的男子假装坡脚杵着拐杖进入修理厂。
工人们很同情他给了他现金，后来修理厂主从办公室出来阻止了他的行为。修理厂主主后来叫了哈伊马角的警察，警察发现这名男子根本没有身体残疾。
哈伊马角警方启动了全面的提升公民关于乞讨带来的风险的意识行动。
斋月期间，警方进一步扩大了打击乞讨行为的行动。

A beggar claiming physical disability in Ras Al Khaimah was trapped by the owner of a garage, as this video, carried by ‘Al Bayan’, shows.
The man, of Asian nationality, entered the garage with a limp and using a walking stick.
Workers sympathised with him and gave him cash, but the owner of the garage came out of his office and stopped the man. He then called the Ras Al Khaimah Police who found the man had no physical deformity.
Ras Al Khaimah Police have launched a comprehensive awareness campaign to inform residents of the dangers of begging.
Police also stepped up its campaign to combat begging during Ramadan.
