道路交通局局长Mattar Al Tayer表示：道路交通局即将开始建设二期的空调公共汽车候车亭，项目包括了迪拜各个区域400个附加候车亭（空调和非空调的）的建设，具体的依据需求而定。
完工后，公共汽车候车亭的总数将达到1285个。
Al Tayer同时还揭露道：全新模式设计的太阳能公共汽车候车亭为在目前没有通电的地方建设此类候车亭提供了先驱式的创造性解决方案。

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will undertake Phase II of the air-conditioned bus shelters which encompasses the construction of 400 additional shelters (air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned) in various parts of Dubai, depending on the volume of demand, Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman, RTA, said.
This will bring the total number of bus shelters at the time of completion to 1,285 shelters.
Al Tayer also unveiled the new model design of solar-powered bus shelters, rendering it the first creative solution for constructing this sort of shelters at places where there is no electric current.
