阿联酋首部科幻电影将在迪拜上映

太空船盘旋于阿联酋迪拜大厦上空，身穿白袍的男子仰望天空。这样一幕独特的场景正是阿联酋首部科幻电影Aerials其中一个片段，这是为该片今年的首映而准备的。
这部电影讲述了迪拜一位救世主的故事，拍摄场景包括标志性的Burj Khalifa, Sheikh Zayed路和阿联酋大厦。
这一灾难影片由来自迪拜的S.A Zaidi担任导演，由演员 Saga Alyasery 和Ana Druzhynina首次合作演出，讲述了一个关于在迪拜异形灾难中存活下来的故事。
该片的先行预告片将在本周末的迪拜动漫节中发行。Zaidi，曾把迪拜作为他的微电影“两个太阳之子”的拍摄背景，他说:“关于Aerials，我不想透露太多，但它是一部关于迪拜异形灾难的影片，围绕一对阿联酋夫妇求生之旅展开的故事。”
“我们搜索了整个城市，想弄清楚发生了什么。我们展示了当迪拜灯火熄灭的时候会发生什么————灯全都熄了，街上没有车辆，没人供应电力，车辆也废弃了。事物陷入了一片混乱，我不敢说迪拜陷入了一片混乱，但Sheikh Zayed街道确是一片混乱。”
对于Zaidi和阿联酋制片Ghanem Ghubash来说，这部影片凝聚了爱的劳动力。这个团队在该影片里投入了很多，尤其是时间。Zaidi说：“我们独立地投资了这部影片。我们没有太多的资金，但是最后我们做到了，最大的困难应该是争取到拍摄的许可了————但是这些问题我们全都解决了，而且得到了很大的支持。”
该片拍摄历时两年，凝聚了很多人的耐心和决心。但Zaidi说：今年年末，影院的观众们将享受一场视觉盛宴。
Zaidi说：“影片中有75%是英文，25%是阿拉伯语。但影片中全都有英文字幕。”
对于热衷于该片的观众，Zaidi提醒道，该片一定会有精彩瞬间的“作为一部科幻片，影片中会有很多恐怖情节，会有一点恐怖。”
The UAE’s first science-fiction movie will show Dubai disturbed

An alien spaceship hovers Dubai’s Emirates Towers. A man in a Kandoura looks up to the sky. The out-of-this-world scene is a thrilling glimpse of the UAE’s first science-fiction film ‘Aerials’, set for release later this year.
The film follows an alien apocalypse in Dubai, with shoots including the iconic Burj Khalifa, Sheikh Zayed Road, and Emirates Towers.
The apocalypse film, directed by Dubai-based S.A Zaidi, sees actor Saga Alyasery co-starring with Ana Druzhynina in a story about surviving Dubai’s alien apocalypse.
The teaser trailer was released at the weekend, during the Comic Con event held in Dubai and Zaidi, who also used the city as the setting for his short movie ‘The Sons of Two Suns’ explains: “I don’t want to reveal too much, but ‘Aerials’ is about an alien apocalypse around Dubai – it surrounds the lives of an Emirati couple that are trying to survive”.
“We explore around the city – to see what’s happening, we show what happens when the electricity goes out in Dubai – the lights are all out, there are no cars on the street, no one has power and cars are abandoned. It’s a mess! I won’t say Dubai is a mess, but Sheikh Zayed Road is a mess”.
The project is a labour of love for Zaidi and Emirati producer Ghanem Ghubash. The pair have invested a lot in the movie, not least in terms of time. Zaidi says: “We independently funded the film. We didn’t have that much money but we did it! The biggest challenges have been obtaining permits for shooting – but we did get them all and have had great support.”
It’s taken two years, and a lot of patience and determination, but Zaidi says the ‘eye candy’ will be ready for cinema audiences at the end of this year.
Zaidi says: “It’s 75 per cent English, 25 per cent Arabic – but it will have English subtitles throughout”.
And for those keen to see it, Zaidi warns, it does have its moments: “Being a science fiction, it has a lot of horror to it. It is going to be a little scary”.
