来自孟加拉国的迪拜出租车司机归还乘客235,000迪拉姆

自从他抛弃了电脑设计的工作，在迪拜作一名出租车司机，Ariful Karim已经在阿联酋开出租车。
这是他非常喜欢的一份工作，即使这意味着将远离他在孟加拉国的家人。
做这份工作已经两年，他很高兴他的诚实得到了人们的认可和称赞。
他向人们骄傲地展示他的徽章，这是他从道路与交通管理局（RTA）收到的荣誉，因为他归还了一位健忘的乘客丢下的现金。
他回忆说：“这件事发生在去年，就在斋月结束前，一位乘客把他的现金遗落在出租车上。我没有注意到遗失的现金，之后也载有一些乘客。当我正在喘口气，我发现在座位之间滑倒了一个纸包。”
“于是我把我的手滑向座位之间，掏出这个纸包。我意识到，在这只包裹里有现金。我数了一下，一共有235,000迪拉姆。
“我给道路与交通管理局打电话并把包裹放在了办公室里。”
“一天后，乘客就去道路与交通管理局取包裹，并称现金的数目是正确的。我也被叫到办公室，并遇到了那位乘客，他来自伊朗，并奖励了我300迪拉姆。”
Ariful很荣幸得到道路与交通管理局颁发的旨在鼓励诚实的徽章和证书。

Ever since he ditched a computer design job for that of a taxi driver at Dubai Taxi, Ariful Karim has been driving people around the UAE.
It’s a job he thoroughly enjoys, even though it means time away from his family in Bangladesh.
Two years into the job, he’s happy how his honesty beyond the call of duty has been recognised and applauded.
He proudly shows his badge, an honour he received from the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) for returning cash left behind by a forgetful passenger.
“It happened last year, just before the end of Ramadan, when a passenger forgot to take his belongings when he stepped out of the cab. I didn’t notice it, and had a few passengers after that. It’s when I was taking a breather that I found a paper packet that had slipped between the seats,” he recalls.
“It’s when I slid my hand between the seats, and pulled out the pack that I realised that it had cash in it. I counted it, and it totalled to Dh235,000.
“I called the RTA and deposited the pack with the office.
“After a day, the passenger approached the RTA and was told his packet was intact. I was also called in, and I met the passenger, who was from Iran. He rewarded me with Dh300.”
Ariful was honoured by RTA with a badge and certificate, applauding his honesty.
