在迪拜一加油站内，四名醉酒女子使用鞋子殴打一非洲籍出租车司机，随后，四名女子与其男性同伙一同被捕。
三名亚洲男性因拍摄并宣传该殴打事件而被捕。
迪拜警署总司令Khamis Al Mazinah表示：随后四名女子被发现之前曾有过违法记录，其中包括经济违法行为及其他罪行。
来自迪拜Emarat Alyoum daily中：事发当天，四名女子向该司机提出搭车的请求，在巴萨的一个加油站，四名女子以想买食物和饮料为由要求司机停车。
他说：在商店门口，司机因女子在商店滞留太久并对其大喊大叫而被激怒，随即要求女子支付车钱并让他离开。
Mazinah说：“随后四名女子就对司机实施了殴打，其中一名女子脱下鞋子打了司机。在场的一些阿拉伯男子也卷入了该事件。与此同时，一名亚洲男子和他的朋友拍下了该事件并散播了视频。”
他说：殴打事件之后，四名女子与阿拉伯男子被拘禁了大约一小时。而拍摄视频的亚洲男子及其两个朋友也将面临官司，因其违反了法律法规和损害了一个国家出租车公司的形象。

Four drunk Arab women used their shoes to assault an African taxi driver at a petrol station in Dubai before they were arrested along with male accomplices.
Three Asian men who filmed and publicised the brawl were also arrested.
Dubai's police commander Major General Khamis Al Mazinah said the four women were later found to have a police record involving financial violations and other offences.
Quoted by the Dubai-based Emarat Alyoum daily, he said the women had asked the driver to give them a lift late night last week and that they later told him to stop at a petrol station in Barsha so they will buy food and drinks.
He said the driver was irked when they were late at the shop and for shouting at him, adding that he asked them to pay him and let him go.
"They then assaulted him, one of them took off her shoes and attacked him. Some Arab men who were there were involved in the fight while an Asian man and his two friends filmed the scuffle and publicised it later," Mazinah said.
He said the women and the Arab men were all arrested less than an hour after the assault while the Asian photographer and his two friends would face trail for violating law laws and hurting the image of a national taxi company.
