高科技代客泊车：塑胶卡，手机取代纸质票

如果下次你去代客泊车收到一张机读卡，请不要惊讶，这不是通常的纸质票。
一个新的系统正在被选定的全国各地的酒店所测试，以取代古老的纸质票系统。
该系统包括一个带有标签的塑料卡，可以使用手持设备扫描。它链接多个停车场系统，立即通知在另一端的工作人员。
亚特兰蒂斯就是被选定的测试酒店之一。一名代客泊车的工作人员告诉“Emirates24|7”，酒店正在测试该系统。工作人员说：“目前我们正在在会议和宴会部分使用该系统。本次试验结束，将它移到酒店主要代客泊车区”。
据他说，该系统简单并易于使用，也为客户节省了时间。
他说：“这减少了我们走到电脑取票，有时用对讲机与另一端对话的环节。”

The next time you give your car for valet parking, do not be surprised if you are issued a machine readable card, instead of the usual paper ticket.
A new system being tested across select hotels in the country use technology to replace the age-old paper system.
The system includes a plastic card with an RFID tag that can be scanned using a handheld. It links to a system present at multiple parking garages and immediately notifies the staff at the other end about it.
Among the hotels that are part of the pilot project is Atlantis. A staff at the valet parking told ‘Emirates24|7’ that the hotel management is currently testing the system on a trial basis. “Currently we are using it in the conference and banquet section. Once this trial is over, it will be moved to the main hotel valet parking section,” said the staff.
According to him, the system is simple and easy to use and also saves time for customers.
“It eliminates the need for us to collect the ticket, walk up to the computer, enter the details or sometimes, call the other end using a walkie-talkie,” he said.
