不要窃贼说你不在家
沙迦警方警告，当居民在度假的时候，不要将报纸和传单堆放在门口。

阿联酋沙迦：鉴于沙迦入室盗窃案件的增加，警方提醒居民不要在别墅和公寓的门桩处放置报纸和传单，这是一个巨大的破绽，去提醒窃贼房子是没人住。
在阿联酋准备宰牲节的时候，沙迦警方呼吁市民提前计划，并在度假之前保证自己家园的安全。
沙迦警局刑事和调查部（CID）的负责人Ebrahim Musabeh Al Ajel上校告诉海湾新闻，居民经常缺少思考，从而给房子留下信号去提醒窃贼房子没人住。
他说：“一堆在门口未清除的报纸或传单类似于在宣布：‘我们不在家’。对于小偷，这是一个绿灯。”

Sharjah: In light of increased burglaries in Sharjah, police have warned residents that piles of newspapers and leaflets at the doors of villas and apartments are a dead giveaway to burglars that the house is unoccupied.
As the UAE prepares for Eid Al Adha, Sharjah Police have urged residents to plan ahead and secure their homes before leaving on holiday.
Colonel Ebrahim Musabeh Al Ajel, head of Criminal and Investigation Department (CID) of Sharjah Police, told Gulf News that residents often give little thought to clues that signal a house is ripe for the taking by burglars.
“A pile of uncleared newspapers or flyers at the doorstep is akin to announcing: ‘We’re not at home.’ It’s a green light for thieves,” he said.
