Shanghai TBCA will grandly present Cui Hao's solo exhibition Traversing Latitudes and Longitudes on July 29, 2025, which will run until August 22, 2025. Huang Jiancheng serves as the academic director, and Wu Shu serves as the curator.

在艺术探索的漫漫征途里，崔灏始终渴望突破常规，寻找能让创作语言迸发全新生命力的载体。当油彩第一次穿透纱网的经纬线，颜料的浓艳与网眼的通透交织出意想不到的视觉效果，那一刻，崔灏知道自己找到了契合内心表达的独特媒介。

In the long journey of artistic exploration, Cui Hao has always been eager to break through conventions and find a carrier that can endow his creative language with a brand-new vitality. When oil paint first penetrated the warp and weft of the screen, the rich and vivid hues of the pigment intertwined with the porosity of the mesh, creating an unexpected visual effect. At that moment, Cui Hao knew he had found a unique medium that resonated with his inner expression.

纱网细密的结构，像是生活中无处不在的规则与限制，而油彩的肆意穿透与剥落，恰似内心对自由的永恒追寻。在创作过程中，崔灏不断观察颜料如何在经纬间渗透、堆积、剥落、凝固，每一次尝试既是与材料特性的深入对话，也是对自我表达边界的不断挑战。那些因纱网的阻挡而形成的斑驳纹理，那些穿透网眼缓慢剥落的颜料痕迹，共同构成了独一无二的艺术叙事，是生命力对规训的突围。

The fine, dense structure of the screen resembles the rules and restrictions that pervade life, while the unrestrained penetration and peeling of oil paint is like an eternal pursuit of freedom from within. During the creative process, Cui Hao continuously observes how the pigment seeps, accumulates, peels, and solidifies between the warp and weft. Each attempt is both an in-depth dialogue with the material's properties and a constant challenge to the boundaries of self-expression. The mottled textures formed by the obstruction of the screen, and the slow, peeling traces of pigment that penetrate the mesh, together form a unique artistic narrative—a breakthrough of vitality against discipline.

此次个展中的每一件作品，都是崔灏在艺术探索中的阶段性成果，凝聚着无数次实验的灵感与坚持，蕴含着对材料、空间与情感关系的深度思考。通过油彩与纱网的材质碰撞，崔灏试图在作品中展现艺术突破常规的魅力，并袒露自身对创作之路的虔诚与热忱，希望能为观众带来一些思考和慰藉。

Each work in this solo exhibition represents a milestone of Cui Hao's artistic phase, embodying inspiration and perseverance forged through countless experiments, as well as profound reflections on the relationships between materials, space, and emotions. Through the textural interplay between oil paint and screen, Cui Hao strives to reveal the charm of art breaking through conventions in his works, while laying bare his devotion and passion for the creative journey, hoping to bring the audience moments of reflection and solace.
