Data Management: Oversee the end-to-end maintenance of the security master for US equities, ETFs, and indices. This includes daily updates, symbology management, and the onboarding of new securities;

Corporate Actions Processing: Analyze, interpret, and process corporate actions (e.g., splits, mergers, spin-offs, dividends) to ensure accurate adjustment of security terms and pricing;

Quality Control: Implement and execute systematic and manual data validation checks to identify and resolve discrepancies, omissions, or errors in a timely manner;

Reconciliation: Compare internal security data against prime brokers, administrators, and custodians to resolve breaks;

Vendor Management: Serve as a point of contact for market data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv) to troubleshoot feed issues, submit data inquiries, and validate vendor methodologies;

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work directly with quantitative researchers and trading teams to understand their data requirements and ensure the security master supports model development and trading strategies;

Process Improvement: Document operational procedures and contribute to projects aimed at automating data validation and management processes to enhance efficiency and scalability;

Ad-Hoc Analysis: Investigate and resolve data-related issues raised by end-users, providing clear communication on findings and solutions.

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field;

3 to 5 years of direct experience in security reference data management;

Demonstrable knowledge of financial instruments and the full lifecycle of corporate actions and their impact on security data;

High proficiency in using SQL for data extraction, analysis, and problem-solving;

Familiarity with data vendors such as the Bloomberg Terminal or Refinitiv Eikon;

Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail;

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Knowledge of security master platforms (GoldenSource, Eagle PACE, Markit EDM, internal proprietary systems);

Experience with a scripting language (Python preferred) for automating tasks and manipulating data;

Exposure to a Linux/Unix command-line environment;

Familiarity with data visualization or analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Jupyter).
