棉花是重要经济作物,2020 - 2021年全球产量1.141亿包(低于前一年),2021年消费量1.172亿包。人口增长、耕地流失及生物/非生物胁迫等制约棉花增产。过去半个世纪棉花研究取得进展,如全球棉花种质资源收集保存、生物信息学资源开发、作物生理学研究等。《现代农业》征集聚焦棉花研究意义、关键科学问题及近年进展的原创研究与综述。


本期特刊议题包括但不限于:


  • Cotton genetic improvement and biological breeding, cotton high-quality fiber quality variety improvement, high yield. The creation of new varieties suitable for mechanized and artificial intelligence management and the stress resistance of cotton growth (resistance to biological and abiotic stresses.

  • Creation of cotton germplasm resources and important breeding resources.

  • Multi omics (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, epigenomics) and bioinformatics of cotton research.

全球人口增长与生活水平提升使蛋白质需求持续增加,联合国粮农组织预测2050年人口达97亿,粮食需求增50%。传统农业因资源低效和气候变化难满足需求,开发新型蛋白质资源(NPRs)对粮食安全至关重要。NPRs包括微生物蛋白、海洋蛋白、昆虫蛋白等多类。其开发需前沿技术突破,还需关注下游应用、消化利用率、环境影响及消费者接受度,同时完善监管体系。欢迎推动该领域发展的原创研究与综述投稿。


本期特刊议题包括但不限于:


  • Development of novel alternative proteins as food/feed ingredients, especially using unconventional C1 compounds

  • Advanced biotechnologies for improving protein resource value: removing anti-nutritional factors and toxins; optimizing nutrition, allergenicity and immunogenicity, health effects, and gut microbiota composition impact, etc

  • Evaluation of utilization efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions of NPRs, such as feeding evaluation and carbon footprints with the NPR-based diets, etc
