What is BRICS?
BRICS is made up of China, Brazil, Russia, India and South Africa. The first BRIC Foreign Ministers’ Meeting was held in 2006 among China, Brazil, Russia and India on the margins of the general debate of the 61st session of the United Nations General Assembly, which drew the prelude for BRIC cooperation.

This year’s BRICS Summit is also special as China invited other five countries from different regions – Egypt, Guinea, Mexico, Tajikistan and Thailand to attend the Dialogue of Emerging Market and Developing Countries, which was held on Tuesday morning, as a bid to promote expanded cooperation among developing countries.

据义乌海关统计，2017年1—7月，义乌市对金砖国家(印度、巴西、俄罗斯、南非)进出口贸易总额达147.9亿元，占全市外贸的11.1%，同比增长20.3%，增速较总体高出9.1个百分点。
And imports and exports to India is 8.18 billion yuan, an increase of 17.5%, accounting for 55.3% of the total trade of the BRICS. Followed by Brazil is 3.15 billion yuan, 1.95 billion yuan in Russia and 1.51 billion yuan in South Africa.
其中对印度进出口81.8亿元，同比增长17.5%，占对金砖国家贸易总额的55.3%。接下来依次是巴西31.5亿元，俄罗斯19.5亿元和南非15.1亿元。
