In response to Curtis's attack, Ram responded emphatically: "Asking this question shows you don't understand Ethernet at all. Ethernet never defines latency in its standards. Customers choose the low-latency switches they prefer... You want to set a latency standard because you don't know how to design a low-latency switch, right?"
Ram also questioned the PCIe specification behind UALink. It was primarily used for short-distance chip transmission in the past, making it difficult to support long-distance transmission between thousands of processors like Ethernet. "Does any company currently have a PCIe switch with enough buffer memory to support long-distance transmission? Good luck," he said.
