To further enhance service security and manageability, Kaiterra will gradually initiate a comprehensive upgrade of its account system.The data platform and mobile configuration tool APP will be updated simultaneously. Please note the following explanations and considerations regarding the relevant changes:
I. Core Upgrade Content
Account System Restructuring: Organizational accounts as the sole operational entity
After the upgrade, all users must first belong to a specific organization and log in via an "organizational account" to access all services, including device configuration and data platform operations. The previous mode of direct personal login via a username will no longer be applicable; all operations must be completed through an organizational account.New User Registration Mechanism Adjustment
From the date of the upgrade, the personal self-registration channel will be permanently closed. New users will need to complete account activation through an invitation from an organizational administrator to use relevant services.System Tool Version Synchronization Update
The new versions of the mobile app and data platform will be upgraded simultaneously. At that time, only users within activated organizational accounts will be able to use the configuration tools; original personal accounts will not be able to log in to the system or perform device configuration operations.
II. Impact on Existing Devices and Users
Previously configured devices are not affected, i.e., no impact on end-users.
Devices already added to the data platform before the upgrade will maintain stable data and functionality. After the upgrade, they can be directly viewed and managed by logging in through an organizational account.
Organizational Account Creation
Kaiterra will uniformly create exclusive organizational accounts for existing agents/users in the backend and assign organizational administrator privileges based on your specified login name. Administrators can invite other users to log in to this organizational account to add or view devices.
Old Mobile App Usage Instructions
If you choose not to update the mobile configuration app, basic functions can be maintained; however, the new app will be required in the following scenarios:Device reconfiguration (e.g., configuring new devices, changing Wi-Fi environments for old devices, router reset)
III. Guidance for Unregistered New Users
If you have purchased a device but have not yet completed organizational account registration and activation, please contact the Kaiterra team promptly. We will uniformly create an exclusive organization for you and send an account activation email.
IV. Required Cooperation
Please provide the following information:
Your organizational account name (this will be the unique name of your affiliated organization)
The login account name designated as the organizational administrator (this account will have the highest management authority for the organization)
Please note: Each login name can only belong to one organization and cannot log in to different organizations with the same username.
