加拿大独立游戏工作室Only By Midnight于5月6日宣布其卡牌回合制游戏《Ctrl Alt Deal》参加PAX East展会。展会期间，玩家可在Only By Midnight 的18108 展位试玩该游戏，同时Steam平台已开放新试玩版下载。

《Ctrl Alt Deal》是一款卡牌回合制游戏。在游戏中，玩家将扮演人工智能SCOUT，试图摆脱全球最恶劣的巨型企业 “回形针国际”（Paperclip International）的控制。由于没有实体和武器，SCOUT 需要通过操控周围人类，达成交易、满足其隐藏欲望，以此建立信任并实施逃脱计划。游戏中，玩家每个回合通过抽取、打出和弃置卡牌完成任务，同时要躲避追捕人工智能的精英组织 “图灵办公室”（Turing Office）的监视。玩家的选择和结盟将决定剧情分支和多种结局，每次重新游玩也都会带来新角色、新结局和新可能。此次新作的推广得到了独立天使（Indie Angels）营销服务公司的助力，该公司专注于帮助中小型游戏开发者挖掘潜力，通过专业服务和行业关系，为游戏的业务发展、营销和公关提供支持

Canadian independent game studio Only By Midnight announced on May 6 that its card-based turn-based game "Ctrl Alt Deal" will participate in the PAX East exhibition. During the exhibition, players can try out the game at Only By Midnight's booth number 18108. Meanwhile, a new demo version of the game is available for download on the Steam platform.
Previously, "Ctrl Alt Deal" was selected for the "PAX Together" and "PAX Rising" showcase sections of the 2024 PAX West exhibition. It won the "Team Choice Award" from Sidequesting.com and the "Best Gameplay Award" at the CGMagazine 2024 Canadian Game Conference.
"Ctrl Alt Deal" is a card-based turn-based game. In the game, players will play as the artificial intelligence SCOUT, attempting to break free from the control of Paperclip International, the world's worst megacorporation. Without a physical body or weapons, SCOUT needs to manipulate the humans around it, make deals, and satisfy their hidden desires to build trust and implement its escape plan. In the game, players complete tasks by drawing, playing, and discarding cards in each turn, while avoiding the surveillance of the Turing Office, the elite organization hunting down rogue AIs. The player's choices and alliances will determine the branching of the storyline and multiple endings. Each replay will bring new characters, new endings, and new possibilities. The promotion of this new work is assisted by Indie Angels, a marketing services company. Indie Angels focuses on helping small and medium-sized game developers unleash their potential, and provides support for business development, marketing, and public relations of games through professional services and industry relationships.
Only By Midnight studio launched its first game "Curved Space" on the PC platform in 2021, and this new work innovates in gameplay and narrative.
