5月25日，挪威游戏工作室Games People Play 公布了其全新作品，扑克Rogue游戏《恶魔之债》（The Devil's Due），目前该游戏 Steam 页面已上线，玩家可添加至愿望单。
《The Devil's Due》的设定中，玩家在与恶魔的扑克赌局中失去灵魂后，需通过作弊、虚张声势等手段，在与代表七宗罪的怪物进行的卡牌对决中，寻找逃离地狱的出路。游戏玩法融合了扑克策略与Roguelike 元素，玩家可构建扑克手牌进行攻击，利用卡牌数值防御，并使用隐藏卡牌替换、提升数值、破坏对手手牌等作弊手段。不过，滥用作弊会增加敌人的怀疑值，引发强力反击。
Games People Play由杰克・克里斯托弗森（Jack Kristoffersen）和乔・巴鲁姆（Joachim Barrum）创立。团队成员拥有丰富的游戏开发经验，曾参与《圣诞老人大进击》（Daze Before Christmas）、《世嘉极限运动》（Sega Extreme Sports）和《秘密潜入》（Project IGI）等作品。
On May 25, Norwegian game studio Games People Play revealed its new title, the poker roguelike The Devil's Due, now available to wishlist on Steam.
In The Devil's Due, players lose their soul in a poker bet with the Devil and must cheat, bluff, and outplay monsters representing the Seven Deadly Sins in card battles to escape hell. The gameplay blends poker strategy with roguelike elements: players build poker hands for attacks, use card values for defense, and employ cheating tactics like hidden card swaps, stat boosts, and hand destruction. However, overusing cheats raises enemies' suspicion meters, triggering powerful counterattacks.
Founded by Jack Kristoffersen and Joachim Barrum, Games People Play consists of veteran developers who contributed to titles like Daze Before Christmas, Sega Extreme Sports, and Project IGI.
