Inside the 2025 AmCham China Social Impact Summit
2025年9月19日，中国美国商会2025社会影响力峰会在北京希尔顿酒店成功举办。作为商会年度旗舰活动，本届峰会以“携手共塑绿色繁荣，同心共筑可持续未来”为主题，吸引了近百名来自中国政府、智库、研究机构及会员企业的代表齐聚一堂，分享企业在拓展社会影响力方面的经验与最佳实践。会上，商会还正式发布了《2025社会影响力报告》。
On September 19, AmCham China hosted the 2025Social Impact Summit at the Hilton Hotel Beijing. As AmCham China's annualsignature event, this year's summit was held under the theme "TogetherShaping Green Prosperity, United Building a Sustainable Future." The eventbrought together nearly 100 representatives from the Chinese government, thinktanks, research institutions, and member companies to share best practices andexperiences in advancing corporate social impact. During the summit, AmChamChina officially released the 2025 Social Impact Report.
中国美国商会前任董事会主席华刚林（Colm Rafferty）致开幕词，对与会嘉宾表示热烈欢迎。他高度赞扬会员企业在社会影响力方面取得的杰出成就，并强调企业在应对全球挑战、推动中国社会发展中发挥的关键作用。
Former AmCham China Chair Colm Raffertydelivered opening remarks, welcoming attendees. He praised member companies fortheir outstanding achievements in social impact and highlighted the criticalrole businesses play in addressing global challenges and driving China's socialdevelopment.
生态环境部环境与经济政策研究中心副主任田春秀发表了主旨演讲。她详细阐述了中国在推动绿色转型和实现碳中和目标方面所采取的政策、行动和已经取得的成效。田春秀表示，下一步，中国将充分发挥市场机制的作用，更好地引导企业履行环境社会责任。中方愿与在华外资企业进一步深化交流合作，欢迎更多的外资企业积极参与中国绿色发展进程，共享绿色机遇。
Chunxiu Tian, Deputy Director General of thePolicy Research Center for Environment and Economy (PRCEE) under the Ministryof Ecology and Environment, delivered the keynote speech. She elaborated onChina's policies, actions, and progress in promoting green transformation andachieving carbon neutrality. Tian emphasized that, moving forward, China willleverage market mechanisms to guide enterprises in fulfilling theirenvironmental and social responsibilities. She also welcomed deeper engagementwith foreign-invested enterprises in China and encouraged their activeparticipation in the country's green development process.
中国循环经济协会会长朱黎阳分享了过去五年来中国的循环经济发展在减少二氧化碳及温室气体排放方面的实践和成效。他表示，循环经济是中美两国在气候行动领域的交汇点，双方在这一领域均有许多创新实践，未来仍有很大的合作空间，期待两国企业继续加强交流，继续为应对全球气候变化和推动可持续发展做出贡献。
Liyang Zhu, President of the China Associationof Circular Economy, shared insights into China's development of a circulareconomy over the past five years, particularly its effectiveness in reducingCO₂ and greenhouse gas emissions. He noted that circular economy practicesserve as a key area of convergence for China–US climate collaboration andhighlighted the potential for continued bilateral cooperation.
峰会第一场专题讨论以“驱动绿色经济：跨国企业创新绿色实践”为主题，由中国美国商会商业可持续工作组联席主席、UPS中国公共事务副总裁吴静主持。讨论嘉宾包括HPE中国区总裁办主任、中国美国商会商业可持续工作组联席主席刘晓妹，以及索尼（中国）高级副总裁、人力资源和ESG负责人金燕敏。讨论聚焦科技企业如何通过AI、云计算和网络技术实现转型，推动碳足迹追踪及节能技术创新，从而推进绿色发展并履行可持续责任。同时，嘉宾分享了企业助力中国企业减排和应对国际贸易环保挑战的实践经验，并强调了企业在改革开放进程中的重要角色及其对可持续发展的坚定承诺和贡献。

The discussion explored how tech companies are leveraging AI, cloud computing, and network technologies to advance carbon footprint tracking and energy-saving innovation. Panelists also discussed their efforts to help Chinese enterprises reduce emissions and adapt to international environmental standards, reinforcing the private sector's vital role in China's ongoing reform and commitment to sustainable development.
第二场专题讨论以“持续赋能社会：从理念到行动”为主题，由中国美国商会农业工作组联席主席、嘉吉公司大中华区副总裁刘畅主持。讨论嘉宾包括PPG工业公司亚太区企业传播及公共事务总监陈轶如，利洁时大中华区集团事务及可持续发展负责人陈骏，以及碧山旅行（WildChina）合伙人王海亮。讨论聚焦企业如何将社会责任理念转化为实际行动，促进社会的包容性和可持续发展。嘉宾分享了企业在社区发展、女性赋能及乡村振兴等方面的实践案例，并探讨企业如何在实现商业利益的同时兼顾社会责任，从而推动可持续发展与价值共创。

This panel focused on how companies are translating corporate social responsibility into concrete actions that promote inclusion and sustainable development. Speakers shared case studies related to community development, women's empowerment, and rural revitalization, and explored how businesses can align social responsibility with commercial success to create shared value.
在主题演讲和讨论环节结束后，中国美国商会副会长马琼娜正式发布了《2025年社会影响力报告》。该报告收录了近30家会员企业的40个案例，案例数量较去年近乎翻番，充分展现了外资企业在可持续发展与包容性实践方面的蓬勃进展。
Following the keynote speeches and panel discussions, AmCham China Vice President Claire Ma officially launched the 2025 Social Impact Report. This year's report features 40 case studies from nearly 30 member companies, almost double last year's total, demonstrating significant progress by foreign enterprises in advancing sustainability and inclusive development in China.
本次峰会在社会影响力大奖颁奖仪式中圆满收官。社会影响力大奖表彰了过去一年在社会影响力计划和中国经济社会发展中作出突出贡献的会员企业。今年的获奖企业包括3M、波士顿科学、埃克森美孚、HPE、美光科技和斯伦贝谢。
The summit concluded with the Social Impact Awards Ceremony, recognizing member companies for outstanding contributions to social impact and China's economic and social development over the past year. The 2025 awardees included:
