The holiday spirit was in full swing on December 6 at the InterContinental Century City Chengdu, where nearly 300 guests of the regional international business scene gathered for an evening of celebration. 2025 Chengdu Christmas Gala was collaboratively presented by AmCham China Southwest Chapter, British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China, Australian Chamber of Commerce West China Chapter, and Chengdu-Expat.
12月6日，成都世纪城天堂洲际大饭店洋溢着浓郁的节日氛围。近300位来自西南地区国际商界的嘉宾欢聚一堂，共同参与了这场年度庆典。本次2025成都国际圣诞晚宴由中国美国商会西南、中国西南英国商会、中国澳大利亚商会华西、Chengdu-Expat联合主办。
The evening commenced with welcoming remarks from distinguished diplomatic representatives. Guests heard from Economic Officer of the US Embassy in Beijing Zeynep Soyluoglu-Hoyt, the Australian Consul-General in Chengdu Meaghan Shaw, and the British Deputy Consul-General in Chongqing Tim Standbrook. Their insights set a tone of international fellowship. Leadership from the 4 host organizations—Jeffrey Bernstein, AmCham China Southwest Chapter Chair, Matt Ryan, British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China Vice Chair, Andy Liu, Australian Chamber of Commerce West China Chair, and Dieter Vanonckelen, Founder of Chengdu-Expat—then extended a warm holiday greeting to all in attendance. The formal program culminated with a gracious toast on stage, shared by the chamber leaders alongside the diplomatic guests.
晚会以外交代表的致辞拉开序幕。美国驻华大使馆经济处官员宋泽娜、澳大利亚驻成都总领事邵美珍以及英国驻重庆副总领事施博荣分别发表了讲话，他们富有见地的分享为整场活动奠定了国际友谊的基调。随后，四大主办方代表——中国美国商会西南分会主席彭士杰、中国西南英国商会副主席马强、中国澳大利亚商会华西主席刘晓晔以及Chengdu-Expat创始人迪老板——向所有到场来宾致以热烈的节日问候。活动的开幕环节在商会领袖与外交嘉宾共同举杯祝酒中达到高潮。
As the presentations concluded, a delightful dinner commenced. Attendees enjoyed a fine selection of cuisine accompanied by premium wines, beers, and the vibrant sounds of a live band. The event provided a perfect backdrop for reconnecting with old friends and making valuable new connections within the community.
