CCG in Dialogue with Peter Trubowitz: Making sense of Trump's foreign policy
Against the backdrop of shifting global geopolitics and evolving US domestic and international dynamics, Trump’s foreign policy has remained a focal point of global attention due to its distinct pragmatism and transformative impacts. Its implications extend beyond US bilateral relations, shaping regional security frameworks, multilateral cooperation mechanisms, and the trajectory of globalization at large.
In this dialogue, Peter Trubowitz, Professor of International Relations and Director of the Phelan United States Centre at the London School of Economics, and Dr. Henry Huiyao Wang, Founder and President of the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), Guest Professor at China Foreign Affairs University, Standing Director of the China Society of International Economic Relations and former Counsellor to the State Council of China, will delve into the core logic and key priorities of Trump’s foreign policy. They will also explore its far-reaching effects on Sino-US relations, global governance, and the future of globalization, offering insightful perspectives on navigating international relations in an era of uncertainty.
