合美术馆是由中电光谷联合控股有限公司（简称：中电光谷）创办，湖北省文化厅主管的、具有独立法人资格的公益性民营美术馆；建筑面积10000m²，具备国际一流标准的展览和收藏软硬体设施。本馆秉承“学术性、国际性、开创性”的办馆理念和“让当代艺术走向大众”的办馆宗旨，强调对优秀艺术家的研究，侧重扶持艺术创新力量。努力创办面向未来，具有思想影响力、艺术传播力的新型美术馆。
Founded by China Electronics Optics Valley Union Holding Company Limited and administrated by Hubei Provincial Department of Culture, United Art Museum is a privately-operated art museum for public welfare which enjoys the independentlegal personality and is equipped with international first-rate exhibition andcollection hardware and software facilities and its floorage reaches 10,000m2. In line with the management principles of “being academic, international andground-breaking”and the tenant of “enabling the contemporary art to beoriented at the masses”, United Art Museum emphasizes case studies of artists, pays attention to assisting the force of artistic innovation and strives tobuild a new-type art museum which is geared to the needs of the future and characterized by the power for dissemination of ideas and art.
