The Foshan Uniceramics Expo—one of the largest & most influential ceramic exhibitions in Asia—officially opened from April 18-22. KEDA Industrial Group's ceramic machinery division, including brands such as KEDA, HLT&DLT, ICF & Welko, Quanitech, and F.D.S. Ettmar, gathered once again with global customers to strengthen relationships, explore cooperation and discuss future development.

During the 2025 Foshan Uniceramics Expo, KEDA Industrial Group launched an innovative "Expo+Open House" joint exhibition model. The 9 major manufacturing bases across Guangdong were fully opened to the public, forming a year-round "Innovation Exhibition Zone".

During the exhibition, customers from countries and regions across all continents—including Italy, Spain, Turkey, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Brazil, and Mexico—gathered at KEDA and HLT&DLT's production bases and exhibition booth at the Tanzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center.

Uhuru Torch Race Enters Twyford Tanzania Glass 

Recently, the Uhuru Torch Race, one of the most important cultural and sporting annual events, was grandly held. As a key investment project in the country, Twyford Tanzania Glass was chosen to be one of the important stops of the torch relay. 

The torch relay ceremony was attended by Ismail Ally Ussi, Head of the Uhuru Torch Race under the President's Office of Tanzania; Aboubakary Kunenge, Pwani Regional Commissioner; Hadija Nasri, Mkuranga District Commissioner; and Mr. Zhifan WU, General Manager of Twyford Tanzania Glass.

KEDA Ceramic Machinery Hosts "New Products & Technologies Exchange Conference"

On the afternoon of April 18, KEDA Ceramic Machinery held a "New Products & Technologies Exchange Conference" at Workshop C11 of its Shunde Guanglong plant. As one of the key events during this year's Uniceramics Expo, the conference attracted representatives from leading enterprises across various production regions in China. 

How to help clients to tackle down production challenges and improve theirs production both in quality and quantity are what KEDA Ceramic Machinery wanted to present at the event. Different production divisions had their own presentation to show the clients for more insight.

Mr. Xudong SUI, Deputy General Manager of KEDA Ceramic Machinery, stated in his speech: "Today, we are showcasing our products in the workshop, essentially bringing the exhibition into the factory. KEDA is confident to set up an open house to the public due to our competitive manufacturing capabilities. The firsthand production process can be shown to prove how great quality our products can be guaranteed. 

Last month, we witnessed the rollout of KEDA's 20,000th squaring & chamfering machine. This milestone marks a new height and a new starting point. With over 30 years of development and accumulation, each of KEDA's product lines is approaching its own milestone moment. Looking to the future with innovation, our clients’ and partners’ attention and support are the greatest driving forces behind our progress. We hope this grand celebration of innovation would be able to bring valuable insights to all.”

Establishment of the "KEDA Hard Material Grinding & Polishing Research Center"

On April 15, the plaque unveiling ceremony of the "KEDA Hard Material Grinding & Polishing Research Center" was held at KEDA's Shunde Guanglong manufacturing base. 

The establishment of the "KEDA Hard Material Grinding & Polishing Research Center" will provide R&D teams in Final Processing Division with more advanced tools and platforms. This aims to unleash their full potential for innovation and create more cutting-edge machineries. In addition, the center will expand its focus beyond ceramics to include broader hard material fields such as glass, microcrystalline slabs, and metals. Furthermore, the laboratory will serve as a solid foundation for enhancing product quality.

Mr. SUI encouraged all R&D personnel in Final Processing Division to leverage the experimental center's hardware and software advantages to continuously pursue technological breakthroughs, further advancing innovation in KEDA's polishing & squaring machines.

From developing China's First Squaring & Chamfering Machine and Polishing Machine, to pioneering the Nano Polishing Machine (LUXCO Coating Machine); from creating the NC Squaring & Chamfering Machine to the KEDA KING Series Efficient Intelligent Squaring & Chamfering Machine and launching the Multi-Section Swing Polishing Machine, KEDA Final Processing Division has always remained at the forefront of the industry, driving continuous innovation and leading technological advancement.
