Job Responsibilities:
  • As a Tactile Sensor Module Design & Application Engineer at Melexis, focusing on Mechanical Design, 3D Modeling & Simulation, you will be crucial in developing product and solution expertise to ensure professional technical support for our robotics customers and actively participate in business development.

Structural Specialty:
  • Module Structure R&D: Drive the structural transformation design from the sensor chip level to the integrated module. This includes designing the layout, structure, and protective features (such as sealing and anti-interference solutions). Collaborate with Sensor Application Engineers, Product Line Teams, and customers to complete 3D structural modeling and industrial appearance optimization. Proficiency in commonly used CAD design software is required.

    模组结构研发设计:负责将传感器芯片转化为模组的结构设计工作,包括布局规划、结构设计及防护结构(如密封、抗干扰)方案设计。与传感器应用工程师、产品线团队以及客户紧密协作,完成 3D 结构建模,并对工业外观进行优化。熟练掌握常用CAD设计软件。


  • Materials & Manufacturing Expertise: Possess deep knowledge of the properties of plastics, silicone, and composite materials. Be familiar with assembly processes and key points of mold design, enabling you to select and optimize structures accordingly.

    材料与工艺知识:精通塑胶、硅胶及复合材料的特性,熟悉组装工艺及模具设计要点,可针对性地选型并优化结构。


  • Innovation & Solution Output: Conduct research on existing and cutting-edge sensor module technologies (e.g., processes and new sensing materials). Propose innovative module structure solutions and lead the structural design, development of new projects, and product upgrade iterations.

    技术调研与方案输出能力:开展传感器模组现有和前沿技术(如新工艺、新型传感材料)的调研工作,提出模组结构创新方案,主导新项目的结构设计开发与产品的升级迭代工作。


  • 3D Simulation & Structural Optimization: Utilize CAD simulation software to perform 3D structural simulation analysis. This includes mechanical and thermal field simulations, and conducting topology optimization of key components to ensure the module's optimal strength, stability, and sensing accuracy.

    3D仿真与结构优化能力:运用 CAD仿真软件进行 3D 结构仿真分析,涵盖力学和热场仿真。对关键零部进行件拓扑优化,确保模组在强度、稳定性和传感精度方面达到最优状态。


  • Design Implementation & Process Collaboration: Output finalized 2D/3D engineering drawings and BOM lists. Confirm processing technologies (such as plastic molding, die casting, and micro-assembly processes). Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to optimize wiring layout , and work with Sensor Application Engineers and customers to complete reliability verification (e.g., environmental adaptability and vibration testing).

    设计落地与工艺协同能力:输出 2D/3D工程图和 BOM 清单,确认加工工艺(如塑胶模、压铸模、微组装工艺),与电气工程师协同优化走线布局,与传感器应用工程师和客户共同完成可靠性验证(如环境适应性测试、振动测试)。


  • Production Support & Technical Breakthroughs: Handle structural anomalies during mass production and provide technical support and methodology training. Lead the tackling of key and challenging issues in module structures, providing feasible solutions, and assisting in tooling and fixture design.

    生产保障与技术攻关能力:处理量产过程中出现的结构相关异常,提供技术支持与方法培训。主导模组结构的重、难点问题攻关,输出可行性解决方案,并协助设计工装夹具。


  • Project Management & Technology Reserves: Develop project plans, manage project progress, and provide regular updates and progress reports. Drive communication on key materials and process technologies, and conduct R&D for structural technology reserves.

    项目管控与技术储备能力:制定项目计划,对项目进度进行有效管控,定期更新并汇报项目进展情况。推动关键材料与工艺技术的沟通交流,开展结构技术储备研发工作。


Position Responsibility:
  • Business Development: Work closely with Field Application Engineers, Product Line technical experts, and sales/distribution teams to actively expand our customer base for robotic haptics. Promote the advantages of Melexis products and solutions to explore project opportunities. Proactively drive Design IN and Design WIN projects, creating value for our customers in terms of technical support, innovation, and business perspectives.

    与现场应用工程师、产品线技术专家、销售和分销商团队紧密合作,积极拓展机器人触觉相关的客户。积极通过推广Melexis产品和解决方案的优势,挖掘潜在项目机会。全力推动项目实现设计导入(Design IN)和设计成功(Design WIN),为客户提供技术支持、创造创新价值和商业价值等维度。


  • Collect and synthesize information on technical trends, new product needs, and common market problems. Provide timely feedback to the Product Line to contribute value to the company's product roadmap.

    及时收集并系统梳理客户及市场的技术发展趋势、新产品需求以及常见问题,迅速反馈给产品线专家,为新产品开发提供有力支持。


  • Actively support technical exhibitions and public/online seminars. Provide expert technical support covering product knowledge, system applications, and technical market trends.

    积极支持公司组织的公开展览、技术研讨会、线上研讨会等活动,为活动提供专业的技术支持,包含技术知识讲解、系统应用分析、市场技术趋势分析等。


Basic Requirements 

  • An engineering bachelor with 5-year or master degree with 3-year working experience in EMD software & algorithm related electrical engineering field, experience of AE or FAE with EMD software & algorithm will be preferred.

    具备硕士及以上学历,机电一体化、机械设计、材料科学等相关专业。拥有3 年及以上模组 / 精密结构设计工作经验,有传感器模组相关设计经验者优先。


  • A positive attitude and excellent, rapid learning ability are fundamental requirements.

    积极的工作态度和良好、快速的学习能力是基本要求。


  • Strong English proficiency in communicating, reading, and writing.

    具备良好的英语沟通、读写能力。


  • Proven ability to summarize difficult technical issues in a simple and clear manner.

    能够以简洁明了的方式总结棘手的技术问题。


  • Willingness to travel.

    愿意接受出差安排。
