Head of E-commerce
Company Profile:
The company's founders identified a common pain point for all smart device users: getting on-demand, fast, secure, reliable mobile internet connections anywhere in the world.
Strategic Leadership & Planning: Develop and execute the annual/quarterly e-commerce strategy, trade calendar, and budget to achieve sales targets and maximize market share. Continuously analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
Platform & Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily management and optimization of all e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify). This includes product information management, merchandising, content updates, promotions, and ensuring a seamless end-to-end customer journey.
Data Analysis & Performance Optimization: Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI) to monitor KPIs (traffic, conversion rate, AOV). Generate actionable insights to improve site performance, customer acquisition, and return on investment (ROI) through A/B testing, CRO, and UX enhancements.
Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition: Lead the digital marketing strategy across channels such as SEO/SEM, email marketing (Klaviyo), social media (Meta, TikTok), and affiliate programs to drive customer acquisition and retention.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Team Leadership: Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory management and timely order fulfillment. Lead, mentor, and empower the local e-commerce team, setting clear goals and fostering a high-performance culture.

Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in a senior e-commerce management role (Head of E-commerce or Senior E-commerce Manager), with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and conversions in the Australian market. Experience client-side within retail/e-commerce is essential. -
Technical Skills: High proficiency with e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus preferred), Google Analytics (GA4), and digital marketing tools (Klaviyo, Meta Ads). A solid understanding of backend systems related to product information management, inventory, and logistics is required.
Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop strategies based on data insights. Proven experience in CRO, trading, and merchandising.
Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with both local and international stakeholders.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
