Is the performance worth the price disparity? Obviously, that depends on the user-Is it a daily use lens? How much is a particular unique and impossible to imitate signature worth? Are the (mostly) subtle tactile differences enough to justify spending the extra?
Is the TT Artisans 80% of the Leica for 10% of the cost? Without question.
Ultimately, we all benefit from having the option of choice- ultimate quality or affordability with good performance!
