玉兔二号，嫦娥四号的任务月球车，于2019年1月3日22时22分完成与嫦娥四号着陆器的分离，驶抵月球背面。首次实现月球背面着陆，2021年10月29日，玉兔二号从休眠中醒来，开始了第36个月昼的探险之旅。

此次探险之旅中，玉兔二号成功“突围”了月球背面的撞击坑所形成的复杂地形——东侧大型撞击坑密布，形成了C型包围；西北方则是隆起坡度高达10°的群岭搭配两个撞击坑，它们将玉兔二号牢牢地限制在“夹缝”中。然后玉兔二号挑战了它面对过的最大陡坡，随后安稳抵达了休眠点。

During this expedition, YuTu II successfully "broke through" the complex topography formed by the impact pits on the back of the moon. The large impact pits on the east side were densely distributed, forming a C-shaped encirclement;

The discovery of China's YuTu II has also caused a stir on Twitter. There has been a flurry of "imaginative" speculation, with some suggesting they are just rocks from the moon

Andrew Jones, a foreign journalist who has long tracked China's aerospace projects, believes one of the most likely explanations for the “mystery house” is the strange stone structure caused by a meteorite impact.
