Head of Manufacturing Operation, Laser Business Division
Your Role:
As the head of Manufacturing Operation, Laser Business Division, you will directly report to CEO of TRUMPF laser China, lead and manage manufacturing operation teams of TRUMPF Laser biz division, including production, industrial engineering and quality teams, to achieve manufacturing performance requirements in terms of safety, quality, cost and delivery:
Responsible for overall manufacturing operation management of TRUMPF China laser business division by setting the objectives, strategies and plans to meet the KPIs, business priorities and customer needs;
Oversee and further extend operations team and accelerate localization of products;
Leads teams to work with internal and external partnerships for further develop the local supply footprint;
Leads teams to continuously improve the processes to achieve a higher Quality, EHS standard and optimize cost, lead time and flexibility;
Accountable for cost control in the area including material, investment in assets, personnel cost etc. to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the spending;
Develop team competence, resource allocation, performance management and people development to ensure team's productivity and capabilities can meet the business sustained growth and production plan needs;
Other supervisory responsibilities in accordance with TRUMPF policies and applicable laws.
Your Profile:
Bachelor degree or above in Manufacturing, Opto-electronic or equivalent engineering major;
At least 10+ years of manufacturing operations and team management experience of leading the team of up to 100-200 employees before with significant complexity, preferably in the laser, photonics, or optics industry;
Demonstrated strong leadership, analytical and decision making skills, project management skills, highly organized and results oriented;
Requires in-depth knowledge of strategies and methods to lead and direct operations to achieve revenue, guest experience and other performance measures;
Solid understanding of process improvement, ideally including Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma;
Must possess strong people management skills to motivate and inspire large groups of people, including selecting, training, developing and coaching people; Demonstrated ability to put team priorities into a larger business context and make difficult tradeoffs caused by new or changed business goals and/or resource reductions;
Chinese native speaker; fluent English in daily working environment including listening, speaking, reading and writing;
Self-resilient, is able to adapt and be flexible in a change oriented, fast paced environment; Self-starter with high levels of drive, perseverance and self-motivation; Can demonstrate high integrity, discretion and the ability to build trust;
Ability to work across multiple tasks methodically and efficiently, always delivering on commitments.
