中国当代文学已经成为世界文学版图的重要风景。这些文学风景植根于中国大地，吸取了中华文明的精华，丰富了世界文学的版图。从2016年夏开始，北京师范大学纪录片中心主任张同道率团队历时两年，跟踪拍摄了6位作家回到故乡，回到文学现场的历程。
Chinese contemporary literature has become an important landscape in the world literature territory. These literary landscapes are rooted in the land of China, absorb the essence of Chinese civilization and enrich the territory of world literature. Since the summer of 2016, Zhang Tongdao, director of Documentary Center of Beijing Normal University, led the team for two years to track and film the process of 6 writers returning to their hometown and literary scene.
摄制组也远赴日本、美国、欧洲多国，采访了30多位汉学家、翻译家、出版家、诺贝尔文学奖评委等国际知名专家，记录下中国文学向世界传播、莫言摘取诺贝尔文学奖的历程。
The camera crew also went to Japan, the United States and Europe to interview more than 30 Sinologists, translators, publishers, judges of Nobel Prize for Literature and other internationally renowned experts, recording the spread of Chinese literature to the world and Mo Yan's Nobel Prize.
《文学的故乡》分为《莫言》、《贾平凹》、《刘震云》、《阿来》、《迟子建》和《毕飞宇》六部。历时两年，从冰雪北国到南方水乡，从青藏高原到胶莱平原，《文学的故乡》摄制团队跨越秦岭和黄河，跟随作家们回到故乡，揭开他们创作的秘密。
Literary Hometowns is divided into Mo Yan, Jia Pingwa, Liu Zhenyun, A Lai, Chi Zijian and Bi Feiyu. It took two years, from the ice and snow north country to the southern water country, from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to the Jiaolai Plain, the film production team across the Qinling Mountains and the Yellow River, followed the writers back to their hometown, uncovering the secrets of their creation.

导演简介
张同道，1965年出生于河北省，中国内地纪录片导演、作家、教师，毕业于北京师范大学中文系（博士）。2000年，执导个人首部纪录片《居委会》，该片入选第14届阿姆斯特丹国际纪录电影节。2003年，执导纪录片《白马四姐妹》，该片入选第18届瑞士弗里堡国际电影节。2018年，执导纪录片《文学的故乡》。2021年4月30日，凭借《零零后》获得第5届中加国际电影节最佳导演奖。
Zhang Tongdao, born in Hebei Province in 1965, documentary film director, writer and teacher of China, graduated from the Department of Chinese Language (PhD) of Beijing Normal University. In 2000, he directed his first documentary Neighborhood Committee, which was selected in the 14th Amsterdam International Documentary Film Festival. In 2003, directed the documentary The Four Sisters of White Horse, which was selected in the 18th International Film Festival in Fribourg, Switzerland. In 2018, directed the documentary Literary Hometowns. On April 30, 2021, he won the Best Director Award for the 5th China-Canada International Film Festival for China's Post-00s.
