【新译Z世代】No.45《摩托日记》：理想在路上

The Motorcycle Diaries is a 2004 biopic about the journey and written memoir of the 23-year-old Ernesto Guevara, who would several years later become internationally known as the Marxist guerrilla leader and revolutionary leader Che Guevara. 

《摩托日记》是2004年的传记片，讲述了23岁的埃内斯托·格瓦拉的旅程和回忆录，几年后，他成为了国际知名的马克思主义游击队领袖和革命领袖切·格瓦拉。

The film recounts the 1952 expedition, initially by motorcycle, across South America by Guevara and Alberto Granado. On a break before his last semester of medical school, Ernesto Guevara travels with his friend Granado from Brazil to Peru by motorcycle. 

这部电影讲述了格瓦拉和阿尔贝托·格拉纳多在1952年最初骑摩托车开始穿越南美的探险。在医学院最后一个学期的假期，埃内斯托·格瓦拉和他的朋友格拉纳多一起骑摩托车从巴西到秘鲁旅行。

They'll see Patagonia, cross the Andes and the Atacama Desert. They'll journey through the Peruvian Amazon. They'll meet the displaced, the rootless and the poor in this big wide continent: migrant workers in Chile, Incan descendants in Machu Picchu, a colony of lepers near Iquitos, Peru.

As well as being a road movie, the film is a coming-of-age film; as the adventure, initially centered on youthful hedonism, unfolds, Guevara discovers himself transformed by his observations on the life of the impoverished indigenous peasantry.

The two men soon witness the great disparities in South America, encountering poor peasants and observing the exploitation of labor by wealthy industrialists. When they reach a leper colony in Peru, Ernesto's values have changed so much that he sides with the sufferers.

The experience will affect Ernesto more than he can imagine. He later was known as Che Guevara the guerrilla leader who joined Fidel Castro in the overthrow of the Cuban government in 1959 and was killed in Bolivia in 1967 while trying to foment revolt there.

这段经历对埃内斯托的影响超出了他的想象。他后来被称为游击队领袖切·格瓦拉，于1959年加入菲德尔·卡斯特罗推翻古巴政府，并于1967年在玻利维亚试图煽动叛乱时被杀。
