Rhenus continues to assist in the fight against Covid19 by successfully arranging transportation for the Sinovac vaccine from Beijing to Yangon, in less than 17 hours.
For Sinovac vaccines to be useful they have to be kept between 2 to 8 degrees Celsius for atmost 72 hours. The temperature and time sensitivity of the cargo meant that the teams in Beijing and Myanmar had to be extremely detailed in their planning. After much consideration, the customer proceeded with a commercial flight instead of the charter option as it is a cost-effective solution to transport this temperature and time-sensitive cargo. Rhenus had to book confirmation one week in advance before departure to ensure sufficient time for preparation, with no undue delay in customs clearance.

This successfully delivery is a showcase of collaborative efforts between Rhenus Myanmar and Beijing, kudos to all the project participants!
