F-LOG Ventures, our VC fund, has invested in Filics, a Munich-based robotics startup. Filics has developed the Filics Unit, a one-of-a-kind dual runner system for autonomous pallet transport. This technology is so impressive that the company recently secured €13.5 million in a successful funding round with F-LOG Ventures, new investors and other existing investors.Filics will use the new capital to accelerate product development and expand its international presence. The company aims to adapt the Filics Unit for floor block storage by the end of the year and begin its expansion into additional European markets in 2026. Bernhard Gold, who leads our Ventures division, stated: "With its robotics solution, Filics addresses key challenges in the logistics industry, such as the shortage of skilled workers, capacity bottlenecks and autonomous transport in confined and complex environments. We see great potential – both in the innovative technology and in the motivated team behind it. We are therefore delighted to be able to accompany Filics on its journey with F-LOG in the future."
