E-commerce firm Taobao confirmed that it has canceled its surcharge-free trial for credit card payments under RMB500 for costreasons, Beijing Youth Daily reported Sunday. Consumers paying with a credit card now have to pay the fees themselves.
据《北京青年报》15日报道，淘宝日前证实，出于成本考虑，已经取消了500元信用卡免费体验额度，用户如选择信用卡支付，则需要自掏腰包付手续费。
Paying off credit card debts for others on computers with Alipay, Taobao's sister online-payment platform, won't be free anymore. A per-transaction fee at the rate of 0.2% of the payment amount will be charged.
此外，客户在PC端使用支付宝给他人信用卡还款不再免费，将收取还款金额0.2%/笔的服务费。
