Beijing is to offer 20,000 owner-occupied apartments this year and another 50,000 in 2014, according to the city's Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development,chinanews.com reported.

The new houses, which are mostly less than 90 sq m, will be sold for about 30% less than market price. The houses will be available for purchase to anyone who is not in violation of the house purchasing restriction.
这类住房建筑面积以90平方米以下为主，售价比市场价低30%左右，面向全市符合限购条件的家庭。
Priorities are given to families with a Beijing hukou, or permanent residence registration, who have not made purchases in the city before. Single adult buyers with a Beijing hukou should be no younger than 25.
京籍无房家庭可优先购买，其中单身人士购买要满25周岁。
