Google has launched a tool to help family and friends of Boston Marathon runners find their loved ones after explosions happened, US media reported.

After typing the person's name you are searching for, a message saying "Status: Someone has received information that this person is alive" will appear if there is positive information available regarding this person. The finder is currently tracking about 3,300 people.
