It might boost your energy in the short-term, but regular power napping could increase the likelihood of an early death by a third, a study has found, according to foreign media. Cambridge University researchers, who monitored the lifestyles of 16,000 British adults over 13 years, found that people who dozed for less than an hour in the day increased the chance of death by around 14%. It rose to 32% if the nap lasted for more than an hour. People who snooze for an hour or more are two-and-a-half times more likely to die from respiratory illnesses such as emphysema, pneumonia and bronchitis, than those who only sleep at night.
据外媒报道,一项研究发现,小睡或许能在短期内增加你的能量,但是经常小睡可能会使早死概率增加1/3。剑桥大学的研究人员用13年监控了1.6万名英国成年人的生活方式,发现白天小睡一小时以下的人,其死亡概率增加了约14%,而小睡超过一小时的人这一概率增加到32%。那些每天小睡一小时以上的人死于肺气肿、肺炎、支气管炎等呼吸道疾病的概率比那些只在晚上睡觉的人增加了2.5倍。
