The average wage for staff of 16 Chinese listing banks in the 1st half of this year is RMB166,000, according to their newly released semi-annual reports, West China Metropolis Daily reported. Employees at 4 banks even gained an average wage of more than RMB200,000 in the 1st half of 2013, with those at Shanghai Pudong Development Bank took the top spot with RMB240,000.
据《华西都市报》报道，16家上市银行半年报近日陆续出炉，据统计，今年上半年，16家上市银行员工薪资人均 16.6万元，共有4家银行员工平均工资在20万元以上，其中最高的是浦发银行，人均薪酬达到24万元。
The report also pointed out that wages for entry-level staff in those banks are far less than the average figures, as there is a huge salary gap between them and the bank executives.
报道同时指出，由于多家银行内不同级别年薪差异大，基层员工的薪资水平都与平均水平相差甚远。
