Economics students are more selfish, mean, greedy, and adept in cheating and expect worse of others, according to a research by professors at Cornell University in the US, The Huffington Post reported.

The reasons are that economics students naturally agree with the "Rational Economic-man Hypothesis" and believe that people should selfishly pursue their own interests. They often think over-highly of the importance of economic activities.
究其原因,经济学专业学生天然认同"理性人假设",认为人就应该自私地追求自己的利益,并且高估经济活动的重要性。
