Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Wuhan are the pilot for a house-for-pension program from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2016, cnr.cn reported citing China Insurance Regulatory Commission. Under the program, an elderly person, age 60 or more, who owns a property can deed the house to an insurance company, while keeping the right to use the house. The insurer would pay out a stipulated amount of money every month until the applicant passes away.
据央广网报道，保监会宣布，将于7月1日起，到2016年6月30日，在北京、上海、广州、武汉开展住房反向抵押养老保险试点。反向抵押养老保险，指60周岁以上拥有房屋完全产权的老人，把房产抵押给保险公司，继续拥有房屋使用权，并按约定每月领取养老金直至身故。
