All 14 Beijing subway lines will offer 4G services starting July, people.com reported on Monday. The 4G network currently supports data services only, so voice calls will still rely on 2G or 3G networks. But with the 4G, subway passengers will be able to experience smoother and clearer mobile Internet applications.
据人民网26日报道，北京14条地铁线路将于今年7月全部覆盖4G信号。不过，目前的4G网络只支持数据业务，语音通话还需2G/3G网络实现。地铁实现4G信号覆盖后，乘客可以体验更为顺畅、清晰的移动互联网应用。
