在中华民族处于最危险的时刻,有这么一群“白衣天使”,齐聚在“红十字”精神的感召下,自愿加入到中国人民的抗侵略战争中。他们先后辗转多地,最后扎根于图云关,在中国度过了2000多个日日夜夜。这是一段不应被忘却的历史,如今,却因为种种原因被岁月尘封,让后来者们难觅只言片语。

Tuyunguan is in southeastern Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou province in an area dotted with mountains and forests and is where the International Committee for Aid to China was set up during the World War II and 3,000 medical staff worked after 1939, with 64 of them dying here.
图云关,位于贵州省贵阳市东南郊,是个群山绵延,布满森林的地方。第二次世界大战期间成立了国际援助中国委员会,许多外籍医疗人员被派往图云关,有3000名医疗人员在这里工作,其中有64人在这里去世。
There were foreign friends who shared the joys and sorrows with Chinese medical staff during six years of fighting, leaving so many stories, which need to be recovered so the children of those foreign friends can come and take a look at the place where their fathers and mothers once worked.
外国友人和中国医护人员一起同甘共苦,战斗了六年。这六年中间,有很多很多的故事要发掘出来,让我们的外国朋友的子女们都来看看他们爸爸妈妈工作过的地方。
