Zhou Yongkang was sentenced to life imprisonment Thursday for accepting bribes, abusing his power and deliberately disclosing state secrets, Tianjin Municipal No. 1 Intermediate People's Court ruled.
2015年6月11日，天津市第一中级人民法院依法对周永康受贿、滥用职权、故意泄露国家秘密案进行了一审宣判，三罪并罚，决定执行无期徒刑。
“受贿”、“滥用职权”、“故意泄露国家秘密”分别用accepting bribes, abusing his power和deliberately disclosing state secrets来表示。
周永康还被剥夺政治权利终身（be deprived of his political rights for life），并处没收个人财产（had his personal assets confiscated）。周永康当庭表示，服从法庭判决，不上诉（pleaded guilty and will not appeal）。
周永康在庭审最后陈述时说：
我接受检方指控，基本事实清楚，我表示认罪悔罪；

有关人员对我家人的贿赂，实际上是冲着我的权力来的，我应负主要责任；
Those involved, who bribed my family, were actually coming after the power I held, and I should take the main responsibility.
