Push present is a present a new father gives a new mother when she gives birth to their child. In practice the present may be given before or after the birth, or even in the delivery room.
新妈妈礼物是新爸爸在新妈妈生下孩子时送给她的礼物。在实际生活中，新妈妈礼物可能在生孩子前或生孩子后，或甚至在产房里送出。
Push present is always a piece of expensive jewellery, frequently diamonds — stud earrings, a jewel-encircled tennis bracelet or a solitaire pendant — push presents have become the posh way for new dads to compensate their partners for the agonies of childbirth.

Milk brain can refer to feelings of disorientation and mental sluggishness reported by some mothers of newborn babies or total involvement in the care of a newborn baby, to the exclusion of almost everything else.

It's a casual, common slur. Even women use it to describe how disorganized they feel in the first frantic days after giving birth. Yet milk brain is just a temporary effect, brought on by sleep deprivation, plus the need to learn (or relearn) the details of child care.

Yummy mummy is a slang term used in the United Kingdom to describe young, attractive and wealthy mothers. The term developed in the 2000s, and was often applied to celebrity mothers such as Liz Hurley or Victoria Beckham, who appeared to quickly regain their pre-pregnancy figures after giving birth, and would continue to lead carefree and affluent lifestyles.
Yummy mummy是英国俚语，指那些年轻、漂亮又有钱的妈妈们。这个词出现于本世纪初期，多用来描述伊丽莎白·赫利或维多利亚·贝克汉姆(见图)等明星妈妈，她们能在产后迅速恢复身材，然后继续过着她们无忧无虑且富足的生活。
The stereotypical yummy mummy was described by Nirpal Dhaliwal in The Times as having an existence "bankrolled by a husband working himself to death in the City, (dressing) in designer outfits... carries the latest must-have bag (and) whose hair and nails are perfectly groomed". A yummy mummy would have several children and yet remain a "girl-about-town", dressing fashionably and appearing well-groomed and carefree.

The phrase soccer mom generally refers to a married middle-class woman who lives in the suburbs and has school age children. She is sometimes portrayed in the media as busy or overburdened and driving a minivan. She is also portrayed as putting the interests of her family, and most importantly her children, ahead of her own.
足球妈妈一般指家住郊区、已婚、并且家中有学龄儿童的中产阶级女性。媒体有时候会把这类女性描述为忙碌或不堪重负，并且时常开一辆小型货车。此外，足球妈妈们给人的印象是把家庭的利益，尤其是孩子的利益看得比自己的利益更重要。
The phrase derives from the literal, specific description of a mother who transports and watches her children play soccer. It was also used in names of organizations of mothers who raised money to support their children's soccer teams.
足球妈妈这个短语最初用来描述那些开车载孩子去踢足球并在一旁观看的妈妈们，这个称呼也会用在妈妈们自发为孩子的足球队集资的组织名称中。

Facebook mommy is a mom who spends 5 hours a night at the club, 10 hours a day asleep, 4 hours a day working, 2 hours a day shopping/eating/drinking coffee with her girls, an hour and a half showering and getting dressed, and 30 minutes with her kids taking "usies" and posting to Facebook using hashtags such as: #lovemybabies #kidsaremylife.

While "Tiger Mom" touched off a huge wave of debate around the world, the opposite method from Finland's education system is also drawing widespread attention. This kind of educational mode is called "Sheep Mom".
"虎妈"热潮席卷全球，在全世界引发热烈讨论。与此同时，与"虎妈"采取截然相反方法的芬兰教育系统也引起了关注。与"虎妈"对应，这种教育方法被称为"羊妈"。
"Sheep Mom" refers to an extensive way of education that sets only basic objectives but no core syllabus. Teachers can feel free to use any teaching method as long as most children can reach the goals. Finland firmly believes that education is a "service" and children are "customers". Since the education mode in Finland basically amounts to "sheep-herding", it is also called "Sheep Mom".
羊妈，是种粗放式的教育方式，对孩子不设核心教学大纲，只提出基本教育目标，老师只要能让多数孩子达到目标，具体采用什么方式教学完全自便。芬兰人坚信教育是个"服务"过程，孩子们就是"顾客"，芬兰的教育方式基本上等于"放羊"，所以称这种教育方式为"羊妈"。
