当地时间8月7日，中国女子跳水队老将吴敏霞与搭档施廷懋夺得了女双三米板的冠军。这是吴敏霞第四次参加奥运会，实现双人3米板的四连冠，同时收获她的第五枚奥运金牌，谱写了跳水界的全新传奇、她以5金1银1铜的战绩成为奥运会跳水项目第一人。

不管是世界纪录（world record）还是奥运会纪录（the Olympic record），有人创造了纪录，之后就会有人来打破。
比如：

中国选手龙清泉在挺举阶段举起170公斤，打破世界纪录同时夺得里约奥运会男子举重56公斤级冠军。
“打破世界纪录”可以用break/smash/rewrite/shatter the world record来表示。
举重比赛（weightlifting）分为两个项目：抓举（snatch）和挺举（clean and jerk），两个项目举起的总重量最高者获胜。
创造世界纪录多用set/make/create a world record表示，另外，也可以用更加直白的...becomes the first to ... in the world来表示。
此外，如果表现很不错，平了世界纪录则可以用equal the world record来表示。
比如：
He is quite confident that he can at least equal the world record in this category.
他很自信在这个项目上至少能平了世界纪录。
吴敏霞奥运金牌之旅简要回顾
2004年雅典奥运会，初出茅庐的吴敏霞与郭晶晶搭档，获得女子双人三米板的金牌，并获得了女子单人三米板的银牌。
2008年在北京，吴敏霞同样与郭晶晶联手卫冕女子双人三米板的金牌，并获得单人三米板的铜牌。
2012年伦敦奥运会，吴敏霞连续第3次获得双人三米板金牌，这次她的搭档变成了何姿，此外，吴敏霞还获得了单人3米板的金牌。
