一名外国小伙伴分享了他们老师私下教授的猜答案技巧（guessing strategy），没复习的小伙伴赶紧看过来了。

Rule 1

When you have no idea of the correct answer, choose the one that has the most in common with the other answers.

当你不知道正确答案时，选一个和其他选项相似点最多的选项。

★技巧：四个选项都有√3，四个分母都是2，四个都是正数，所以选B。

Rule 2

Avoid guessing the same letter answer as the letter chosen immediately before. Out of 165 questions, there were three instances of the same letter answer repeated 3 times in a row and there were no instances of the same letter answer repeated 4 times in a row.

不要选上一题选过的选项。165个选择题中，同一个选项连续出现3次的情况只会出现3回，连续出现4次的情况还没有出现过。

Rule 3

Avoid choosing non answers such as “All of the above” or “None of the above” when guessing on questions with 5 answer choices. Only select this type of answer if you know it is correct. Out of 165 questions, these answers were correct only twice.

当出现5个选项时，不要选“以上所有”和“以上皆非”这类答案，除非你很确定。165题中，这种答案只有一次是对的。

Rule 4

When asked for the smallest number of things that meet a certain condition, don’t choose the smallest answer when guessing. When asked for the greatest number, don’t choose the greatest answer when guessing.

让你选择符合某个特定条件最小的数字时，别选最小的那个；让你选择某个最大的数字时，别选最大的那个。

Rule 5

If four relatively simple answers appear with a very complex fifth choice, avoid the complex answer when guessing.

如果有一个选项很复杂，其他几个相对简单，不要选复杂的那个。

★技巧：E最复杂，排除E。

Rule 6

When you don’t know how to solve a problem algebraically, work backwards and plug in answer choices.

如果你不会用代数方法解题，把答案分别代进去算算就知道了。

★技巧：从中间大小的数字3开始，如果太大了，就换A和B；如果太小了，就换C和D，这样只要算3次就可以知道答案了。

Rule 7

On harder math problems, don’t guess answers that just seem to go.

对于比较难的数学题，要选看上去最不可能的答案。

例如：五个人去找摄影师拍集体照，站成一排的话一共有多少种站法？

★技巧：选看上去最不可能的E。

Rule 8

Many geometry problems can be solved by using estimation. Use the diagrams provided. If no diagram is given, draw your own diagram and estimate, eliminating impossible answers. Guess from remaining answers.

很多几何问题都可以估算出来。利用给出的图表，或者自己画一个，排除不可能的答案，从剩下的选项里面猜一个。

例如：AB=27，CD=20，三角形ADC面积240，ABCD的面积是多少？

★技巧：从图判断，500多比较像，选C或D。

Rule 9

Substitute whole numbers that meet the criteria, for variables in story problems. The operation for solving with whole numbers is the same operation you would use to solve algebraically.

在变量应用题中，用整数代进去算算。整数运算和解代数问题的运算是一样的。

例如：如果一个男人y年以后是x岁，那他z年以前是多少岁？

★技巧：用整数代进去，x=40，y=10，z=5，男人10年后40岁，现在就是30岁，5年前他就是25岁，所以答案就是40-10-5=25，选(D)x-y-z。
