3月5日上午9时，第十二届全国人民代表大会第五次会议在人民大会堂开幕，李克强总理向大会做政府工作报告。
报告在回顾上一年工作成果时指出，全年经济社会发展主要目标任务圆满完成，经济运行缓中趋稳、稳中向好。
每一年的政府工作报告都会对上一年的经济社会发展状况作出概述性总结，“稳中有进、稳中向好、缓中趋稳”等以“稳”字为核心的表述也逐渐成为报告中的高频词。
