这首诗是《好吧，我们不再一起漫游》（So We'll Go No More a Roving），由英国19世纪初期浪漫主义诗人拜伦（George Gordon Byron）所作，其代表作品有《恰尔德·哈罗德游记》（Childe Harold's Pilgrimage）、长篇诗体小说《唐璜》（Don Juan）等。

这首优美的诗歌充满柔情，却又透着浓浓的忧伤与落寞，无奈和惋惜。朦胧月色中，诗人思考着关于爱情是否能恒久的问题，感受到了“黎明前”终将分别的失落。

Though the heart be still as loving,
And the moon be still as bright.

好吧，我们不再一起漫游，
消磨这幽深的夜晚，
尽管这颗心仍旧爱着，
尽管月光还那么灿烂。

For the sword outwears its sheath,
And the soul wears out the breast,
And the heart must pause to breathe,
And love itself have rest.
因为利剑能够磨破剑鞘，
灵魂也把胸膛磨得难以承受，
这颗心啊，它得停下来呼吸，
爱情也得有歇息的时候。

Though the night was made for loving,
And the day returns too soon,
Yet we'll go no more a roving
By the light of the moon.

虽然这夜晚正好倾诉衷肠，
很快的，很快就要天亮，
但我们已不再一起漫游，
