据媒体报道，国际奥委会执委会7日召开会议，同意2024年巴黎奥运会增设霹雳舞等四个大项。

在增设的四个大项中，冲浪、滑板、攀岩三项已经是东京奥运会正式比赛项目。霹雳舞则是首次进入奥运会。而拳击和举重中的小项则会相应减少。
Competitive breakdancing will be the sparkling new attraction at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
This was confirmed on Monday by the International Olympic Committee as part of plans by the president, Thomas Bach, to make the Games “more gender balanced, more youthful and more urban”. Surfing, skateboarding and sport climbing, which are part of next year’s Tokyo Games, will also be included at Paris 2024.
To make room for the four new sports, Olympic officials made significant cuts to other sports, including boxing and weightlifting.
此前，2018年布宜诺斯艾利斯青奥会上，霹雳舞曾作为正式比赛项目有过“惊艳”亮相，设置男单、女单、男女混合等项目，运动员在比赛中Battle对决，逐轮晋级，并产生最后的冠军。

The idea was proposed two years ago after trials at the 2018 Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina, proved a success.
At the youth games, the contestants faced each other in one-on-one dance-offs.
霹雳舞是街舞的一种，英文中常被称为Breaking或breakdance，其展现形式有很多，包括头转、背转、单手撑、手转等，动作炫酷、节奏感强，尤其深受青年人喜爱。
Key elements in breaking, as participants prefer to call it, include top rocks — typically a competitor’s introductory dance moves — footwork, power moves and freezes. Power moves are explosive displays such as spins, while freezes are when a performer sticks a pose.

据新华社报道，精简办赛、性别平等和关注年轻人的需求，成为巴黎奥运会正式比赛项目的三大特点。
相比于东京奥运会，2024年巴黎奥运会将在办赛规模上进一步缩减。参赛运动员的名额从东京奥运会的11092人减少到10500。项目总数上，东京奥运会拥有339个小项，巴黎奥运会将减少10个。
The overall athlete quota will also be reduced to 10,500, down around 500 from those expected in Tokyo. While some sports substituted in some events within their existing event numbers, the medal events had actually gone down from 339 to 329.
性别平等也是此次巴黎奥运会项目调整的一大特点，巴黎奥运会将首次实现男女运动员各占50%。
Paris 2024 will also see exactly 50 percent male and female participation in the Olympic sports programme for the first time.
