This video clip is once again stirring the emotions of Chinese netizens, as the country commemorates the 13th anniversary of the devastating catastrophe that killed nearly 70,000 people.
十三年后的2021年5月12日,我们缅怀逝者,经历重生,展望未来。
当年从废墟中被救出的孩子战胜了困难,实现了他们的梦想并为社会贡献自己的力量。他们参与抗疫,加入军队和消防队伍,在学业和事业上取得成就……他们在灾难中创造了奇迹和希望。








十三年后的汶川,一座新的城市从废墟上重建。基础设施的建设和经济的重建帮助居民的生活逐步恢复正常。
Thirteen years on, survivors in the quake-stricken areas have rebuilt their live from the ruins. Established and sustainable infrastructure and economic modeled provided residents with opportunities to thrive. Those who were teenagers in 2008 are now reaching their peak potential, pursuing higher degrees and starting their careers. The endurance of the human spirit is inspiring.
