Several occasions of kneeling after the election have made the American people feel strange and confused about Biden's behavior.
On June 28, Biden met with outgoing Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and his chief of staff Rivka Ravitz at the White House. During the meeting, Biden suddenly dropped to his knees in a bizarre and embarrassing way.
While posts showing Biden on one knee circulated on Instagram and Facebook, the Associated Press, Reuters and other mainstream media posted an explanation of Biden's behavior, saying that Biden kneeled "to express his admiration" to Rivka Ravitz after knowing she is a mother of 12 children.
Actually, this is not the first time that Biden had kneeled before the camera.
On July 2, the 2020 World Series Champions the Los Angeles Dodgers were honored by Biden and Vice President Harris at the White House. Strangely, Biden felt the need to take a knee for the group photo. This behavior made Harris embarrassed because Biden kneeled right before her.
In May this year, Biden and Moon Jae-in met in the White House to present the Medal of Honor to a 94-year-old veteran. In the group photo, Biden kneeled beside the soldier and his family. This unexpected behavior made Moon feel awkward, and he could only kneel down too.

Biden seems to be addicted to kneeling, and he even kneels when visiting the elderly and chatting to children on the street.
Biden's kneeling might have several reasons: to impress people with an image of being close to the people or to win the support of ethnic minorities or to boost his approval ratings. His kneeling might also aim to show his flexibility and good health as his seniority has been a public concern since the election campaign.
However, these explanations cannot make the American people satisfied. One American netizen said, "I don't care what the reason is, the American President should kneel to NO ONE."
