昨天，一张美军运输机内挤满阿富汗人的照片引发了全球媒体的关注。

英国《独立报》公布了这张美国军事媒体“防务一号”（Defense One）独家获取的照片：当地时间15日，在喀布尔机场，数百名阿富汗人挤在即将起飞的美军C-17运输机里，准备逃离喀布尔，飞往卡塔尔乌代德空军基地。

此前，一段机组人员的音频在网上传开，录音称估计机上大约有800名乘客。

这名机组人员问到：“你觉得你的飞机上有多少人？”在收到RCH871飞机的回复后，他惊讶地说：“你的飞机上有800人！？我的天啊……好吧……”

但据《独立报》援引一位国防官员的话称，“当飞机抵达目的地时，大约有640名阿富汗平民下机。”

即便经国防官员证实的数字低于800人，但也已经大大超过了飞机额定的载客量。

美国“动力”网站在报道中援引波音公司的说法，C-17运输机的官方载客量是134人，即“8个托盘上乘坐80名乘客，加上侧壁的座位上乘坐54名乘客”。

According to Boeing, a C-17's passenger carrying capacity is officially 134 paratroopers, "80 on 8 pallets, plus 54 passengers on sidewall seats."
